SPICE & TEA MERCHANTS OF NORTHVILLE

Owners Chris and Christine Raymond tell us, “Spice & Tea Merchants of Northville is an independently owned and family-run spice and tea shop located in historic downtown Northville. We have over 225 loose teas from which to choose including rooibos, herbal, black, white, oolong, green, and puerh. In addition, we carry a large selection of seasonal teas, a dedicated selection of health and wellness teas, and a variety of matcha flavors. We have a wide variety of tea accessories including steeping mugs, steeping travel tumblers, infusers, teapots, tea kettles, presses, and more. THE PINK HOUSE TEA ROOM

The Pink House Tea Room Bed and Breakfast offers tea time Tuesdays through Sundays. Enjoy traditional tea and scones in a beautifully decorated space filled with art and history. The Tea Time Experience features a pot of tea, assorted scones with lemon curd and Devonshire cream, and an entree of your choosing. Select from choices like a souffle-style quiche, artichoke frittata, homemade chicken salad, or a fresh garden salad. You can also spend the night in this 1875 Victorian home or book a tea party for up to 85 guests. Additionally, a similar tea room experience is available at the Royal Treat Tea Room, which is located in Roseville.

Eli Tea Bar is a modern tea cafe that specializes in loose-leaf tea. Here, you can order a cup of freshly brewed tea from the collection of 100 choices to choose from. When you find your favorite brew (or two), you can also purchase it in bulk to enjoy at home. The cafe offers hot tea, iced, tea lattes, matcha, bubble teas, and more. Feel free to order a beverage, relax in the casual environment, and pick up some teas to go!
THE ROYAL EAGLE FINE DINING

The Royal Eagle Fine Dining offers an exquisite dining experience in an elevated setting for patrons to enjoy. Executive Chef Petr Balcarvosky shares that attendees will experience, “a European style fine dining with medieval cuisine. Royal Tea Time offers an elegant Royal Tea Time Service, featuring homemade soup, imperial court style finger sandwiches, chicken Paprikas, homemade scones and clotted cream, and a chocolate biscuit cake offered at the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate.” The Royal Eagle offers 36 teas to choose from, with herbal, white, green, and black tea options. Royal Tea Time is typically hosted on Tuesdays or Thursdays, but be sure to RSVP online for your seating time. As The Royal Eagle is located on the grounds of a Monastery, there is a required dress code visitors are asked to abide by, which is available on their website.
THE TOWNSEND HOTEL

The Townsend Hotel offers tea time reservations online for Saturday and Sunday afternoons. The adult menu features assorted teas, seasonal scones, tea sandwiches, and miniature tea pastries. For children, there are also assorted teas and miniature pastries, that are accompanied by berries and whipped cream and Nutella and banana on Brioche. If you’d rather enjoy the spread from the comfort of your home, afternoon tea for two is available to go, with packets of tea and the delectable menu items offered.
